Eucharistic Prayers
Prior to Holy Mass, pray:
Act of Contrition for venial sins. (It's highly recommended as part of this devotion to go to confession every two weeks.)
Asking forgiveness and cleansing in the room of the heart. As one enters the church, one goes to The Holy Water Fount and blesses oneself, In the name of the Lord’s victorious cross. Then, one makes a grand genuflection.
Before the Eucharistic sacrifice, the soul prays:
+“O, Divine House Guest of my soul, come,
come in quickly! May Your feet be bathed;
Your meal be prepared with great care.
May You find rest and comfort, silence and rest in this house.
O Divine House Guest of my soul, how is it that You come to me, making Your dwelling for the night and another day, within this unworthy post? See, it is a grand celebration of Your love! I have brought the choicest steer; we have made the cakes of gratitude and Your room is prepared for You to find rest. O Divine House Guest, I know that you are tired by sin, wearied by traveling, searching
for souls, doing the work of salvation and sanctification. Come and rest awhile here. You will find attentive hosts.
O Divine House Guest, I pray that I may be another worthy Abraham, another good listening Sarah for your visit.
O my Divine House Guest, one can never say Thank You enough for these Your Eucharistic visits.”
After receiving the Lord, enter into a very quiet time with Him, spending those moments in unison together. Then begins the work of staying with the DHG, of being a proper Inn Keeper for this weary traveler, The Lord of Hosts. In this way, one does not abandon one’s post, forgetting who it was who entered and spent the night. The needs of the DHG should Be considered in detail. Does He wish me to speak? To comfort Him? Does He wish to say a word to my Soul? Does He need more refreshment?
Act of Contrition:
+O my God, I am heartily sorry for ever having offended thee, and I detest all of my sins, because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of hell. But most of all, because I have offended Thee, O my God, who art all good and worthy of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy Grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen.

Why these saints?
Find out why these saints were chosen by The Lord for the Divine House Guest Chaplet.

Abraham & SARAH
"My child, to be another Abraham is to be My friend, different from most of the world. To walk in My ways and be blameless, and to be consulted by Me in all things, for love. To be another good listening Sarah is to stay by My heart closely. To be concerned with the things of God. To want to hear the secrets of My Divine Heart, To be hospitable in nature, to be a good caretaker of the house, to fill it with sweet smells. To be obedient and silent, listening in, very near My heart."

The Lord's Immaculate Mother & St. Joseph the Just
"To be like My Immaculate Mother and to be like Saint Joseph the Just, is to put God first in all things. To be fully consumed with the hope and love of God. To be like My earthly parents is to be perfect in all law and love. The highest example of greatness in humankind."

Saint paul of Tarsus
"To be another Saint Paul of Tarsus is to be one who walks with Me always, who is the true traveling companion in every circumstance and in all ways."

Saint John the Beloved
"To be another Saint John, is to lean towards Me always. To be a student of My ways and to understand My priestly Heart. To imitate Me in My virtues, in My perfection, to be obedient, faithful, simple, childlike, full of trust and mercy."

Saint therese the Little Flower
"To be another Saint Therese the little flower is to be decorative, creative in one's love. To dare for much, hope for much. To be able to find beauty in very far reaches. Therese is a great example of magnanimous expansion."

Other Saints?
In your praying, you might find that other saints are present. Welcome them in!
"When one enters the devotion, think about these things. Think about these friends. Try to emulate them in their relation to Me. Full of love, full of devotion, full of alacrity and hope."
